Methods: A total of 130 ED patients with spleen-kidney deficiency were randomized into an observation group (65 cases, 2 cases dropped off) and a control group (65 cases, 3 cases dropped off). The control group was given decoction orally, one dose daily.
Unlabelled: Bladder cancer is common worldwide, with most patients presenting with nonmuscle invasive disease. Multiple intravesical recurrences lead to reduced quality of life and high costs for patients with this form of bladder cancer. Intravesical chemotherapy aimed at reducing recurrence is the standard-of-care but has significant side effects from nonspecific cytotoxicity to normal urothelium.

The regulatory network of PKM2 in cancer is complex and has not been fully studied in bladder cancer. The 5-methylcytidine (m5C) modification in PKM2 mRNA might participate in the pathogenesis of bladder cancer and need to be further clarified.

Methods: Thirty male SD rats of the SPF grade were randomly divided into three groups of equal number: solvent control, BaP exposure and YTR intervention. The animals of the solvent control group were injected intraperitoneally with 0.
Background: Renal arteriovenous malformation is an aberrant vascular connection between the renal artery and vein. Acquired renal arteriovenous malformation (arteriovenous fistulae) accounts for approximately 70% of renal arteriovenous abnormalities. Congenital renal arteriovenous malformation, relatively rare, can result in significant hematuria which may require arterial embolization or nephrectomy.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 8 cases of benign testicular tumor treated by TSS in our hospital from October 2005 to March 2012.
Results: The 8 patients, aged 18-67 (mean 45) years, were preoperatively diagnosed with benign testicular tumor and all underwent partial testis resection.

Deficiencies in tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle enzymes have been shown to cause a wide spectrum of human diseases, including malignancies and neurological and cardiac diseases. In mammalian spermatozoa mitochondria, the TCA cycle is known to be a crucial metabolic pathway that contributes to produce ATP. There is little known about the role and mechanism of mitochondrial aconitase (ACO2), which is an important regulatory enzyme of the TCA cycle, in asthenozoospermia.

Genetic variations in the MTHFR gene seem to contribute to a decreased activity of MTHFR, ultimately confer increased susceptibility to cancer. As the most extensively studied polymorphism, MTHFR C677T polymorphism was shown to contribute to cancer susceptibility but the results were inconsistent.

We report our experience in the management of UCF following hypospadias surgery with a prepuce-degloving method (PDM). Our study included 87 patients who developed UCF after hypospadias repair from May 2001 to December 2011.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 21 cases of SPCa treated by glans-preserving surgery in our hospital from January of 2003 to March of 2010.
Results: The study included 21 SPCa patients aged 36 to 57 (mean 46) years, with superficial lesions involving the glans penis, coronary sulcus or shaft skin.
Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a multifunctional cytokine involved in different physiologic and pathophysiologic processes and plays important roles in the etiology of cancer. The -174G>C polymorphism of the IL-6 gene influences IL-6 transcription and has been implicated in cancer risk. However, published data have been conflicting.

The influence of TP53 codon 72, MDM2 SNP309, and MDM2 C1797G polymorphisms in southern Chinese PCa patients was investigated. In the comparison of genotype distributions of TP53 codon 72 between cases and controls, the adjusted odds ratios for PCa associated with the Pro/Pro, Arg/Pro, and Arg/Arg genotypes were 1.

We investigated the potential prognostic roles of p53 codon 72 and MDM2 309 and 1797 polymorphisms in prostate cancer after radical prostatectomy.
Patients And Methods: Fifty southern Chinese with prostate cancer undergoing radical prostatectomy were included in this study.
Background: To explore the reported association of SNP marker rs10993994 with prostate cancer identified by two independent in two genome-wide association studies (GWAS) further, we performed a case-control study in southern Chinese Han population. Consequently, we detected the serum levels of MSMB expression with different genotypes in the cases and controls to characterize the functional consequences of rs10993994.
Materials And Methods: Two hundred fifty-one prostate cancer and 258 control subjects were included in the cancer association study and 90 serum samples were used to test the expression of the MSMB by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
Vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), a major driver of physiological and pathological angiogenesis, plays important roles in the etiology and metastasis of cancers. The +936C>T polymorphism in the 3'-untranslated region of the VEGFA gene has been implicated in cancer risk and is related to VEGF-A protein production; however, published data have been conflicting. To derive a more precise estimation of the relationship, a meta-analysis was performed of 13,293 cancer cases and 12,308 control subjects from 29 published case-control studies.

To explore whether rs2910164 plays any role in prostate cancer (CaP), we analyzed the association between miR-146a polymorphism and risk of CaP and the expression of miR-146a with different genotypes in CaP tissues in southern Chinese Han population.
Materials And Methods: Two hundred fifty-one CaP and 280 control subjects were included in the cancer association study, and 15 CaP tissue samples were used to test the expression of the miRNA precursors by real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR.
