Introduction: Several mitochondrial DNA mutations have been reported to be associated with nonsyndromic hearing loss in several families. However, little is known about the prevalence of these mutations in sporadic patients with nonsyndromic sensorineural hearing loss.

Objective: The purpose of our study was to investigate the incidence of these mitochondrial DNA mutations in such population.

The authors present a solar cell model with a three photons quantum-cutting system on the rear surface, then the method of calculation of limiting efficiencies was used to get the maximum efficiency 58.58% at the band gap Eg=0.9315 eV, and in contrast with two-photons quantum-cutting system, it is greatly improved.

Objective: It has been documented that human papilloma virus (HPV) DNA replication requires proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). However the association between them in tumors is still controversial. Up to now, the role of HPV in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) has not been clearly established, and the correlation between HPV and PCNA in LSCC remains poorly explored.
