Background: Müllerian cysts of the posterior mediastinum are rare, benign lesions typically discovered incidentally via routine medical exams.

Case Presentation: We present a distinctive case of a 49-year-old asymptomatic woman, illustrating a rare Müllerian cyst located in the posterior mediastinum with serous papillary cystadenoma-like features, a novel finding in the medical literature. Identified during a routine health screening in December 2020, a 20 mm cystic lesion adjacent to the T4-5 vertebral body was detected through chest CT and MRI, initially suggesting a neurogenic tumor.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is one of the most common cardiovascular diseases with no effective treatment due to its complex pathogenesis. A novel cell death, disulfidptosis, has been extensively studied in the cancer field but rarely in cardiovascular diseases. This study revealed the potential relationship between disulfidptosis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and put forward a predictive model containing disulfidptosis-associated genes (DRGs) of GYS1, MYH10, PDMIL1, SLC3A2, CAPZB, showing excellent performance by SVM machine learning model.

Adjusting the structure of the membrane and improving its performance proved to be an effective technique for accomplishing efficient dye wastewater purification. Water erosion of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) core in polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofiber membrane modified with UiO-66-NH was successfully achieved, in this study, using coaxial electrospinning, and ZIF-8 with excellent performance was further epitaxy-grown in situ. Two differently shaped and positively charged MOFs confer strong adsorption capacity (adsorption capacity >2042 mg/g) on cationic dyes.

Tire and road wear particles (TRWPs) are an appreciable source of microplastics (MPs); however, knowledge of their large-scale occurrence and mass flux based on robust sampling and quantification is limited. Herein, the first city-wide survey of TRWPs across environmental compartments (road dust, snowbank, water, and sediment from rivers and lakes) along four ring roads (beltways) in Beijing was performed. TRWP concentrations ( = 74) were quantified using bonded-sulfur as a marker to reveal the city-wide spatial distributions and adopted to establish a framework estimating TRWP emission factors (EFs) and mass flux from generation to remote atmospheric, terrestrial, and aquatic transport.
