This study aims to develop castable polyurethane suitable for applications on wet substrates or underwater construction. Polyurethanes were synthesized using various polyols with similar hydroxyl values, including poly(tetrahydrofuran) polyol, polyester polyol, castor oil-modified polyol, soybean oil-modified polyol, and cashew nut shell oil-modified polyol. The corresponding polyurethane curing products were evaluated for their underwater curing characteristics by volume expansion ratios and adhesion strength on dry and wet substrates, combined with analyses of reaction exothermic behavior, wetting properties on dry and wet substrates, interfacial tension, and microstructure characterization from the perspectives of reaction activity and water solubility.

However, the impact of grape cultivar specificity on microbial composition is often overshadowed by the geographical location of the vineyard, leading to underestimation of its role in natural wine fermentation. Therefore, this study focuses on different grape cultivars within a single vineyard.

Harmful algal blooms (HABs) pose serious threats to coastal economies and ecosystems, yet effective monitoring remains challenging due to diverse bloom types and complex environmental conditions. This paper proposes a Mixed Algal Blooms Index (MABI) that uses a new color space to improve HABs detection. By employing Sentinel-2's near-infrared, short-wave infrared, and green bands to calculate tristimulus values-replacing traditional RGB bands-MABI significantly enhances the distinction between algal blooms and water.

Traditional positioning methods that rely on GNSS and IMU, integrated with TS devices, but the GNSS and TS devices are vulnerable to other signal and environmental disruptions, which can significantly diminish position accuracy and even cause observation to stop. To address these challenges, this study introduces a novel time-series prediction model that integrates Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks with a Self-Attention mechanism.

In this study, we synthesized a low-cost ammonium (NH) adsorption electrode material by modifying zeolite using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA-2Na). The flow electrode prepared by the mixture of EDTA-zeolite and carbon black exhibits a high selectivity and adsorption capacity for the recovery of NH from wastewater.

In order to study the ecological and atmospheric recovery of the Hexi Corridor region, this paper analyzes the migration changes of land use characteristics and utilizes multivariate data and BenMAP-CE software to study the pollution characteristics of ozone and its precursors and the impact on human health in the Hexi Corridor region. The results showed that the increase of cultivated land area in the Hexi Corridor mainly originated from grassland. The MDA8-O concentrations met the primary and secondary standards of the Ambient Air Quality Standards on 43% and 99% of the days, respectively.

TRPM8 expression has been identified in the digestive system by several research teams, demonstrating its significant involvement in tissue function and pathologies of the digestive system. Specifically, studies have implicated TRPM8 in various physiological and pathological processes of the esophagus, stomach, colorectal region, liver, and pancreas.

Among the various methods, α-halogen ketone-mediated conjugation chemistry has recently been an attractive strategy to generate single-monoubiquitylated histones for biochemical and structural studies. Herein, we report the use of this strategy to prepare not only dual- and even triple-monoubiquitylated histones but also diubiquitin-modified histones.

To reduce reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate CO emissions, it is important to explore alternative methods of utilizing CO and H as raw materials to obtain high-value-added chemicals or fuels. One such method is CO methanation, which converts CO and H into methane (CH), a valuable fuel and raw material for other chemicals.

Traditional carbon capture and storage technologies for large point sources can at best slow the rate of increase in atmospheric CO concentrations. In contrast, direct capture of CO from ambient air, or "direct air capture" (DAC), offers the potential to become a truly carbon-negative technology. Composite solid adsorbents fabricated by impregnating a porous matrix with KCO are promising adsorbents for the adsorption capture of CO from ambient air.

Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) modulates oxidative stress and suppresses inflammatory responses, and the protective benefits of Nrf2 activation have been associated with the therapy of ulcerative colitis. MicroRNA-200a (miR-200a) could target Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1) and activate the Nrf2-regulated antioxidant pathway.
