This study aims to develop a nomogram prediction model for assessing the cardiogenic composite endpoint, which includes intracardiac thrombosis (ICT) combined with heart failure (HF) in patients with non-compaction cardiomyopathy (NCM) patients. We retrospectively analyzed clinical data from NCM patients (January 2018 to May 2024), who were randomly assigned to training and validation cohorts. Independent predictors were identified using logistic regression, and a nomogram model was developed.

Prognostic potential of inflammatory markers in chronic kidney disease patients combined with acute myocardial infarction.

Background: Inflammation significantly impacts chronic kidney disease (CKD) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI). This study investigates the prognostic value of inflammatory markers in predicting outcomes for CKD patients with AMI.

Methods: We enrolled patients diagnosed with CKD concomitant with AMI, choosing five inflammatory markers related to both diseases.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study enrolled AMI patients with reduced left ventricular function at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from January 2018 to January 2022. Basing on the systolic pulmonary artery pressure assessed by echocardiogram, patients were assigned to the PH group and control group.

Background: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. Lead exposure is an important risk factor for CVD. In our study, we aimed to estimate spatial and temporal trends in the burden of cardiovascular disease associated with chronic lead exposure.
