While synthesizing circular polymers with telechelic polyolefin building blocks recently emerged as a promising strategy for addressing conventional polyethylenes' sustainability challenges, the lack of telechelic PP (PP) with sufficient difunctional purity for polycondensation has been limiting the development of circular polypropylenes with PP-like structures and properties. Here we described a combined approach of coordinative chain transfer polymerization and transition-metal-catalyzed quenching reaction with various acyl chlorides, affording PPs with a high difunctional ratio (up to ∼99%) and broad end functional group scope. The steric effect of polymeryl-Zn species and the role of Pd catalyst were revealed by DFT.

Manipulating the polarization of spin current is essential for understanding the mechanism of charge-to-spin conversion and achieving efficient electrically driven magnetization switching. Here, a novel exchange-spring magnetic structure is introduced formed by the coupling of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) CoTb and in-plane magnetic anisotropy (IMA) Co films. When a spin current with the polarization along the y-direction flows through this exchange-spring (x-z plane) structure, the interaction between the y-spin and the local exchange field with a non-collinear spatial distribution gives rise to substantial unconventional spin polarizations in the x- and z-directions, enabling field-free spin-orbit torque driven perpendicular magnetization switching at room temperature.

This research utilized single-cell RNA sequencing to map the immune cell landscape in sepsis, revealing 28 distinct cell clusters and categorizing them into nine major types. Delving into the monocyte/macrophage subclusters, 12 unique subclusters are identified and pathway enrichment analyses are conducted using KEGG and GO, discovering enriched pathways such as oxidative phosphorylation and antigen processing. Purpose: This systematic review and meta-analysis assesses the pharmacokinetic (PK) summary estimates of isoniazid (INH) between healthy volunteers and patients with tuberculosis (TB), evaluates whether the current INH dose regimen is appropriate in patients with TB, and evaluates the impact of N-acetyl-transferase-2 (NAT2) status on the PK properties of INH.

Methods: A systematic approach was conducted to find studies with relevant INH PK data published in the English language up to February 2018. The singlet-triplet energy splittings (STES) of dication carbon chains capped by three 16-electron and two 14-electron configuration transition metal termini have been investigated using density functional theory. All five transition metal-capped carbon chains (MCC) exhibit an odd-even STES alternation, suggesting that it is a general feature of the MCCs. Analysis of the frontier molecular orbitals indicates that the frontier and neighboring molecular orbitals (MOs) are π orbitals delocalized over the entire carbon chain, the transition metal termini, and the ancillary ligands.
