Artemisia annua, the source of artemisinin production, is a traditional herb used for treating malaria for thousand years. The genetic background is of high heterozygosity and traits (plant height, biomass, artemisinin content, etc.) are diverse across different germplasms.

Due to various reasons, the diagnosis of narcolepsy often experiences a delay of at least ten years. Diagnosing narcolepsy in children is particularly challenging due to atypical symptoms, leading to frequent misdiagnosis or missed diagnoses.

However, accumulating evidence suggests a more complex landscape of gene structure and transcription. Ganoderma lingzhi, a model medicinal fungus, currently lacks high-quality genome annotation, hindering genetic studies.

Rapid urbanization in China has transformed many rural areas from agriculture-dominated to diverse systems, but studies of rural morphology are limited compared to studies of urban settlement. This paper uses a fractal dimension (FD) value to analyze the change in rural morphology in Fujian Province, a region with a long history of rural settlement and rapid recent urbanization, and to explore the factors that influenced this change. We found that the rural FD value increased from 2000 to 2012 and that rural morphology was spatially heterogeneous.

This method allows the synthesis of diversely functionalized phenols under mild reaction conditions without the need for a strong inorganic base or an expensive noble-metal catalyst. Significantly, convenient application of diaryliodoniums is demonstrated in the preparation of diaryl ethers in a one-pot operation.

In our previous work, we studied the total synthesis of pseudoaspidinol belonging to a phloroglucinol derivative and investigated its antifungal activity as well as its intermediates. However, the results showed these compounds have low antifungal activity.
