Photooxidation of CH to value-added chemicals with high selectivity offers a promising pathway to drive the rational utilization of natural gas resources with renewable energy under mild conditions. However, owing to the poor chemoselectivity of reactive oxygen radical formation and consecutive side reactions of primary products, the synthesis of peroxide directly from CH oxidation remains challenging. Here, we report single-atom ruthenium oxide-doped ZnO as a highly selective photocatalyst for the aerobic oxidation of CH to CHOOH.

The ovary is a crucial reproductive organ in mammals, and its development directly influences an individual's sexual maturity and reproductive capacity. To comprehensively describe ovarian sexual maturation in goats, we integrated phenotypic, hormonal, metabolomic, and transcriptomic data from four specific time points: after birth (D1), at 2 months old (M2), at 4 months old (M4), and at 6 month old (M6). The study showed that during the early stage (D1-M2), ovarian growth was the most rapid, with weight and morphology increasing by 284% and 65%, respectively, and hormone levels rose significantly, with estradiol increasing by 57%.

Postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) is a metabolic disorder characterized by the loss of bone density, which increases the risk of developing complications such as fractures. A pivotal factor contributing to the onset of PMOP is the diminished osteogenic differentiation capacity of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play a substantial role in this process; however, their specific impact on regulating BMSCs osteogenesis remains unclear.

Goats can provide meat, milk and skins for humans and are livestock with high economic benefits. However, despite their economic significance, the comprehensive analysis of goats' serum metabolic profile and its intricate alterations throughout their developmental journey remains conspicuously absent. To investigate the stage-specificity and dynamic change characteristics of metabolites during the growth and development of goats, this study compared the alterations in serum hormone levels and serum biochemical markers across different developmental stages of female goats (1, 60, 120 and 180 days old; n = 5).

A high-quality dataset is a basic requirement to ensure the training quality and prediction accuracy of a deep learning network model (DLNM). To explore the influence of label image accuracy on the performance of a concrete crack segmentation network model in a semantic segmentation dataset, this study uses three labelling strategies, namely pixel-level fine labelling, outer contour widening labelling and topological structure widening labelling, respectively, to generate crack label images and construct three sets of crack semantic segmentation datasets with different accuracy. Four semantic segmentation network models (SSNMs), U-Net, High-Resolution Net (HRNet)V2, Pyramid Scene Parsing Network (PSPNet) and DeepLabV3+, were used for learning and training.

All-solid-state lithium metal batteries (ASSLMBs), as a candidate for advanced energy storage devices, invite an abundance of interest due to the merits of high specific energy density and eminent safety. Nevertheless, issues of overwhelming lithium dendrite growth and poor interfacial contact still limit the practical application of ASSLMBs. Herein, we designed and fabricated a double-layer composite solid electrolyte (CSE), namely, PVDF-LiTFSI-LiAlTi(PO)/PVDF-LiTFSI-BN (denoted as PLLB), for ASSLMBs.

Aryl-ketone derivatives have been acknowledged as promising organic photocatalysts for photosynthesis. However, they are limited by their photostability and have been less explored for photoinduced electron transfer (PET) applications. Herein we demonstrate a novel strategy to cover the shortage of aryl-ketone photocatalysts and control the photoreactivity by implanting symmetric aryl ketones into the conjugated covalent organic frameworks (COFs).

The oxidative cleavage and functionalization of unsaturated C-C bonds are important processes for synthesis of carbonyl compounds from hydrocarbon feedstocks, yet there has been no report of direct amidation of unsaturated hydrocarbons an oxidative cleavage of unsaturated C-C bonds with molecular oxygen as an environmentally benign oxidant. Herein, for the first time, we describe a manganese oxide-catalyzed auto-tandem catalysis strategy that enables direct synthesis of amides from unsaturated hydrocarbons by coupling oxidative cleavage with amidation. With oxygen as an oxidant and ammonia as a nitrogen source, a wide range of structurally diverse mono- and multisubstituted activated and unactivated alkenes or alkynes can smoothly undergo unsaturated C-C bond cleavage to deliver one- or multiple-carbon shorter amides.
