The study aimed to identify and assess recent clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for diagnosing and managing Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) published in the last five years.
A scoping review was conducted using multiple databases to evaluate the methodological quality and reliability of the identified guidelines, employing established appraisal tools.
Three CPGs were selected, all showing good methodological quality, but there were issues with stakeholder involvement, and while steroid treatment recommendations were consistent, differences arose with new drug recommendations.
