- The study aimed to identify and assess recent clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for diagnosing and managing Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) published in the last five years.
- A scoping review was conducted using multiple databases to evaluate the methodological quality and reliability of the identified guidelines, employing established appraisal tools.
- Three CPGs were selected, all showing good methodological quality, but there were issues with stakeholder involvement, and while steroid treatment recommendations were consistent, differences arose with new drug recommendations.
