Horse mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) are potential anti-inflammatory tools for post-breeding induced endometritis (PBIE). In this research MSCs isolated from the endometrium or subcutaneous fat of the same donors were infused iu into mares with PBIE for assessment of their anti-inflammatory action and engraftment. PBIE was induced in nine gynecologically healthy mares by iu infusion of 500 million dead sperm in saline.

Introduction: The ability of continuous aerobic exercise training (AET) to increase baroreflex control and cardiac function in heart failure (HF) has been well described, but the comparison between continuous and interval AET on these functions is inconclusive.

Objectives: To compare the effects of continuous and interval AET on cardiac function and baroreflex sensitivity (BrS) in an experimental model of HF.

Methods: Rats were divided into the following groups: continuous training (HF-CT), intense interval training (HF-IIT), moderate interval training (HF-MIT), sedentary group (HF-SED), and sham sedentary (SHAM-SED).

Background And Objectives: Few longitudinal studies have examined the long-term effect on deferral for low haematocrit (Hct) or haemoglobin, indicators of presence of anaemia. This study retrospectively analysed 11 years of donation history to examine predictors related to such deferrals among repeat blood donors.

Materials And Methods: We included 385,357 donors with at least two visits to the blood centre between January 1996 and December 2006 who were not deferred due to haematocrit at their first visit.
