- The study aimed to analyze the variations in the size of the corpus callosum (CC) in relation to age and sex, as well as to establish reference values for the Polish population.
- Data from 1,108 MRI scans taken between 2010 and 2014 were evaluated by radiologists to measure CC size and related brain dimensions across different age groups and sexes.
- Results showed significant differences in CC size parameters across all age groups, with no major differences between men and women for CC size specifically, but noted statistical differences in overall brain size measurements between sexes.
