This proposed work reports the development of in-house made conductive ink-based screen-printed electrodes (SPEs) for label-free detection of oral cancer biomarkers. Carbon ink synthesis includes graphite powder, gum arabic, and water. The selectivity test of the fabricated SPE involves immobilizing antibodies specific to biomarkers and challenges with redox-active interference, other serum molecules, and non-target biomarkers.

A unique method for fabricating the first ultrasensitive, selective, and label-free immunosensor for the detection of SP17, a new cancer biomarker in complicated serum samples, is presented in this paper. This immunosensor was also the first biosensor built using a disposable ITO sheet modified with an aminosilane known as APTMS as an immobilization platform for fabricating the SP17 biosensor.

Therefore, TNF-α is an ideal biomarker for several disease diagnosis including cancer. However, out of all the biomarkers of cancer, TNF-α) is less explored for cancer detection.

To avoid the spread, several countries like China, Italy, Spain, America took strict measures like nationwide lockdown or by cordoning off the areas that were suspected of having risks of community spread. Taking cues from the foreign counterparts, the government of India undertook an important decision of nationwide full lockdown on March 25th which was further extended till May 4th, 2020 (47 days-full lockdown).

Background: Novel corona virus (2019-nCoV) has spread in the world since its first human infection in December 2019. India has also witnessed a rising number of infections since March 2020. The Indian government imposed lockdowns in the nation to control the movement of its citizens thereby confining the spread of the virus.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA label-free electrochemical immunosensor is fabricated using high quality single-walled carbon nanotube for early detection of leukemia cells. It is based on P-glycoprotein (P-gp) expression level detection; by effective surface immune-complex formation with the monoclonal anti-P-glycoprotein antibodies bound to an epoxy modified nanotube surface. The expression level of P-gp on the leukemia cell surface detected by cyclic voltammetry is in good agreement with immunofluorescence microscopy studies.
