Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is the fourth leading cause of death in Indonesia. In 2017, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated that only 2% of the TB patients in Indonesia had only been tested with rapid diagnostics at the time of diagnosis, resulting in largely underdetected rifampicin-resistant TB (RR-TB).
