Evaluation of tooth discoloration after the use of experimental medication as root canal dressings: an in vitro study.

Background: Endodontic infections require the use of root canal dressings to reduce microorganisms, and studies of new intracanal medications are common. Two experimental intracanal medications that contain antibiotics and chlorhexidine have been proposed. However, given the composition of these medications, tooth discoloration with subsequent impacts on aesthetic parameters is a concern.
