Purpose: To report the outcomes and toxicity of high dose rate brachytherapy as a boost for localized prostate cancer.
Materials And Methods: Between 1997 and 2000, the medical records of 131 patients with prostate adenocarcinoma who were treated with external beam radiation therapy and high dose rate brachytherapy, were retrospectively analyzed. Furthermore, 55% of the patients received neoadjuvant/concurrent or adjuvant androgen deprivation therapy.
Low-grade astrocytomas are intracerebral lesions of relatively high frequency in the under-18 pediatric population. They often present indolent behaviour, and complete surgical resection is the choice treatment. In cases where the surgery is not possible, chemotherapy and radiotherapy may be used.

Methods: From October 1994 to December 2003, charts of 42 patients who had biopsy-proven cervical head and neck cancer, with a median follow-up of 36 months (range, 8-111 months), were reviewed.
