Neurological trauma, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, and cerebral palsy can cause mild to severe upper limb impairments. Hand impairment makes it difficult for individuals to complete activities of daily living, especially bimanual tasks. A robotic hand orthosis or hand exoskeleton can be used to restore partial function of an intact but impaired hand.

Material And Methods: We retrospectively identified 880 nephrectomies performed between January 2009 and December 2016 in a single center, reviewed data from 478 radical nephrectomies for kidney tumors and identified 187 patients with locally advanced nonmetastatic ccRCC (pT3-T4 N0M0). NLR was obtained preoperatively and calculated by dividing absolute neutrophil count by absolute lymphocyte count.
Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) has been considered a metabolic disease, with loss of von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) gene and consequent overexpression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF-1α), which is central for tumor development and progression. Among other effects, HIF-1α is involved in the metabolic reprogramming of cancer cells towards the Warburg effect involved in tumor cell proliferation, migration and survival. In this context, several proteins are expressed by cancer cells, including glucose and lactate transporters as well as different pH regulators.

Minimally-invasive magnetic resonance-guided robotically-assisted (MRgRA) needle-based therapeutic ultrasound (NBTU) using multislice volumetric 2-D magnetic resonance thermal imaging (MRTI) overcomes these limitations and has potential to produce less collateral tissue damage than current methods.
Objective: To correlate multislice volumetric 2-D MRTI volumes with histologically confirmed regions of tissue damage in MRgRA NBTU.

Objective: Treatment of brain tumors requires high precision in order to ensure sufficient treatment while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Ablation of such tumors using needle-based therapeutic ultrasound (NBTU) under real-time magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can fulfill this need. However, the constrained space and strong magnetic field in the MRI bore restricts patient access limiting precise placement of the NBTU ablation tool.

The technique and current outcomes of robotic ePLND will be presented.
Methods: Medline®/Pubmed® were searched up to august 2018 to find comparative studies of different anatomic limits of pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) during RARP, open or pure laparoscopic surgery that reported number of nodes retrieved, oncologic outcomes and complications.
Introduction And Objective: Local prostate cancer recurrence is usually treated with salvage radiation (sRDT) with or without adjuvant therapy. However, surgical resection could be an option. We aim to present the surgical technique for robot - assisted laparoscopic resection prostate cancer local recurrence after radical prostatectomy (RP) and sRDT in 2 cases.

We present a technical modification for RARP which preserves the nerves and vascular structures anterior to the prostate aiming to optimize functional outcomes.
Objective: To present oncological and functional results of a modified technique for RARP.
Objective: To evaluate the relation between serum total testosterone (TT) and prostate cancer (PCa) grade and the effect of race and demographic characteristics on such association.
Method: We analyzed 695 patients undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP), of whom 423 had serum TT collected. Patients were classified as having hypogonadism or eugonadism based on two thresholds of testosterone: threshold 1 (300 ng/dL) and threshold 2 (250 ng/dL).
Introduction: The surgical correction of bladder exstrophy remains challenging. In our institution, the repair has evolved from a staged repair to one-stage reconstruction. The one-stage reconstruction includes; bladder closure, Cantwell-Ransley neourethroplasty and abdominoplasty using groin flaps, without the need of pelvic ostheotomies.

Dentists play an important role in the syndrome diagnosis considering that craniomaxillofacial osteomas are a major criteria for Gardner's syndrome diagnosis. This study aimed to describe the main stomatological manifestation of GS and the importance of dentists in its diagnosis.

Methods: The SIF was used to screen two groups: case (neighbors of index cases of leprosy) and control (individuals residing next to houses without leprosy) group. A specialist investigated suspected leprosy cases for disease confirmation.
Purpose: Bisphosphonates are drugs commonly used to treat osteoporosis, hypercalcemia of malignancy, and bone metastases. In some cases, its administration has been associated with osteonecrosis of the jaws. The management of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) has not been completely elucidated, and its treatment can vary from no or limited surgery to more extensive surgery.

Furthermore, microorganisms present in the oral cavity and oropharynx may be transported into the lungs resulting in pneumonia.
Purpose: The objectives of this study were to evaluate the oral problems in patients in the ICU of a cancer center and describe the procedures performed by the dentists in such patients.
Background: The prognostic significance of the difference between poststress and at rest left ventricular ejection fraction (ΔLVEF) in patients sent for diagnostic myocardial perfusion study (MPS) is not well characterized. The purpose of this study was to prospectively evaluate the ability of ΔLVEF in further risk stratifying these patients in addition to the severity/extent of myocardial perfusion abnormalities expressed as the total perfusion deficit at stress (sTPD), according to the type of stress used.
Methods And Results: Two-day 99mTc-MIBI MPS after stress and rest were obtained for 507 patients subdivided according to the type of stress used, sTPD values, and ΔLVEF.
Background: Integrins and other adhesion molecules are essential for maintaining the epithelial phenotype. Some studies have reported correlations between abnormalities in their expression and carcinogenesis, but their role in prostate cancer is unclear. Our aim was to study the expression profile of integrins in surgical specimens of prostate cancer and associate their expression patterns with patient outcomes.

Cell culture studies have reported the correlation between adhesion molecule expression and prostate carcinoma, but their role in the metastatic process is not yet known. Our aim is to study the expression profiles of these molecules and evaluate their association with the metastatic behavior of prostate adenocarcinoma.

Very few reports show the bilateral occurrence of dentigerous cysts associated with first molars or premolars in childhood. The purpose of this report was to describe the case of a 5-year-old boy with bilateral mandibular dentigerous cysts associated with permanent first molars.
