Similarly, deep plane procedures in the neck which include partial submandibular gland resection may lead to salivary gland leaks. Background: At the declaration of the global pandemic on March 11, 2020, many hospitals and institutions developed a tiered framework for the stratification and prioritization of elective surgery. Cleft lip and palate repair was classified as low acuity, and nasoalveolar molding (NAM) clinics were closed. Introduction: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are cell-secreted packages that deliver cargo to target cells to effect functional and phenotypic changes. They are secreted by many different cell types, including adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs), which are a promising field of study in regenerative medicine. Our aim was to perform a systematic review of the literature to summarize the scientific work that has been conducted on ADSC EVs to date.

Giant Anterior Chest Wall Basal Cell Carcinoma: An Approach to Palliative Reconstruction.

Anterior chest wall giant basal cell carcinoma (GBCC) is a rare skin malignancy that requires a multidisciplinary treatment approach. This case report demonstrates the challenges of anterior chest wall GBCC reconstruction for the purpose of palliative therapy in a 72-year-old female. Surgical resection of the lesion included the manubrium and upper four ribs.
