Background: We evaluated the quality of oncology education in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) training programs.
Methods: We surveyed UG schools in medicine, nursing, and pharmacy as well as PG residencies in family and internal medicine to assess the programs' oncology content.
Results: Among 58 UG and 26 PG programs nationwide, response rates were 58.
This report describes an illustrative case of malignant pheochromocytoma of the urinary bladder in a 28-year old man. A combined-modality treatment plan with partial cystectomy and post-operative radiotherapy and concurrent chemotherapy with single agent cisplatin weekly was performed. Three weeks after completing concurrent chemoradiation the first of four planned cycles of cisplatin 25 mg/m2 and etoposide 100 mg/m2 was administered daily over 3 days.

A retrospective analysis was conducted of patients with advanced small bowel adenocarcinoma to explore chemotherapy use, and gain knowledge for ongoing management and future clinical trials.
Patients And Methods: All patients with advanced adenocarcinoma of the small bowel treated at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) between 1986 and 2004 were identified through the cancer registry.
