Methods: in this descriptive cross-sectional study, participants' (N=89) critical thinking was assessed using the Health Science Reasoning Test. Correlation between critical thinking domains and sociodemographic data was assessed using the Pearson correlation coefficient.
Objective: To understand the meaning of the debriefing process performed in clinical simulation activities in a nursing course, based on Kolb's Theory of Experiential Learning.
Method: Qualitative, case study type, carried out in a nursing course at a University in southern Brazil, from March to June 2018. For data collection, documentary research was used, the interview based on Kolb's Leaning Style Instrument, with 29 participants and direct observation of eight debriefing scenes.
Background: Critical thinking is a crucial skill in the nursing profession, so teaching strategies and methodology must be carefully considered when training and preparing nursing students to think critically. Studies on simulation-based learning supported by technology are increasing in nursing education, but no scoping reviews have mapped the literature on simulation-based learning supported by technology to enhance critical thinking in nursing students.
Objective: The proposed scoping review aims to systematically map research on the use of simulation-based learning supported by technology to enhance critical thinking in nursing students.
Objectives: to identify the characteristics of violence in the context of the teaching and learning of the undergraduate Nursing course, from the perspective of students.
Methods: quantitative, cross-sectional study, developed with 208 undergraduate students in Nursing. The data was obtained through the application of a survey questionnaire and processed by descriptive and bivariate statistics.
