Alzheimer's disease (AD) is linked to toxic Aβ plaques in the brain and activation of innate responses. Recent findings however suggest that the disease may also depend on the adaptive immunity, as B cells exacerbate and CD8 T cells limit AD-like pathology in mouse models of amyloidosis. Here, by artificially blocking or augmenting CD8 T cells in the brain of 5xFAD mice, we provide evidence that AD-like pathology is promoted by pathogenic, proinflammatory cytokines and exhaustion markers expressing CXCR6 CD39CD73 CD8 T-like cells.

Recently, baseline tumor size has been identified as an independent prognostic factor for overall survival in patients with melanoma receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors. MG1 is a novel oncolytic agent with broad tumor tropism that has recently entered early-phase clinical trials.

The development of novel therapies is hindered by a lack of preclinical models. We have generated ACC patient-derived xenograft (PDX) lines that retain the physical and genetic properties of the original tumours, including the presence of the common MYB::NFIB or MYBL1::NFIB translocations.

Materials And Methods: The multicenter, prospective, comparative study "POTOK" included 500 patients aged over 50 years with biochemical signs of testosterone deficiency (morning total testosterone concentration <12.1 nmol/l) and LUTS/BPH (International Prostatic Symptoms Score [IPSS] score of 8-19).
The Mezmaiskaya cave is located on the North Caucasus near the border that divides Europe and Asia. Previously, fossil remains for two Neanderthals were reported from Mezmaiskaya Cave. A tooth from the third archaic hominin specimen (Mezmaiskaya 3) was retrieved from layer 3 in Mezmaiskaya Cave.

It was shown that normalization of coronary circulation in patients with viable hibernating myocardium in the zone of the affected artery not only eliminates the signs of chronic ischemia and slows down post-infarction heart remodeling but also restores the lost functions of hibernating myocardium which has beneficial influence on prognosis of the disease. Functioning of hibernating myocardium depends on the timely restoration of coronary circulation.

Tactics of "total" myocardial revascularization means restoration of coronary blood flow in all arteries with hemodynamically significant lesion while "selective" revascularization provides restoration of coronary blood flow only in those arteries which have a viable myocardium in their pool. It was concluded that restoration of coronary blood flow in patients after myocardial infarction permits to prevent postinfarction heart remodeling, development of heart failure thereby affecting on the prognosis.
