Severe Clostridium difficile colitis and reactive arthritis in a ten-year-old child.

We present a case of Clostridium difficile associated colitis in a 10-year-old girl; following 2 consecutive courses of oral antibiotics she developed severe diarrhea and a hip effusion. This is the fourth published pediatric case of C. difficile associated reactive arthritis.
