Background: Skeletal metastases (SM) in advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an infrequent occurrence that has been previously reported in literature to occur in less than 2.5% of the cases. Complications such as pathological fractures can result in intractable pain, immobilization and a significant deterioration in quality of life.

Primary care for survivors of colorectal cancer.

Colorectal cancer survivorship has risen in recent years because of earlier detection and advances in treatment. Primary care providers (PCPs) may see more of these patients in their daily practices. This article discusses some of the most common issues patients face after completing treatment for colorectal cancer and describes how PCPs can help.
