This case report presents a 40-year-old man presenting with mixed mental health symptoms including depression, anxiety, euphoria, sleep cycle disturbances, and alcohol use over several years. Multiple providers see the patient in varying specialties, initially focusing on depression, anxiety, and, later, substance use. Alcohol misuse can shadow underlying mental disorders.

An ultrasound curriculum was developed to enhance advanced health-assessment delivery of didactic and laboratory content to advanced practice nursing students.
