Introduction: Drooling of saliva is the unintentional loss of saliva from the mouth resulting in excess pooling of saliva in the anterior portion of the oral cavity. It is considered normal in infants and usually resolves itself by 15-18 months of age. It is a common problem in pediatric patients with cerebral palsy or other neurological disorders.
