Purpose: To validate the content of the Speech-Language Pathology Concordance Test called FonoTCS.
Methods: This is a content validation study of the instrument. Five speech-language pathologists, all with doctoral degrees and teaching experience, averaging 24.
Objective: To compare the immediate effects of using MindVox in women without voice complaints for 1, 3, 5, and 7 minutes of reading tasks, on acoustic measurements of the vocal signal in low, medium, and strong intensity emissions; on self-rated effort vocal, and on the intensity of voice reception and production.
Methods: Participants read one text using MindVox for 1, 3, 5, and 7 minutes. After each time, measures of self-rated vocal effort were collected (BORG CR10-BR Scale), as well as samples of the vowel /e/ at low (>70 dB), moderate (≥70 dB and ≤80 dB), and high intensities (>80 dB).
Introduction: The auditory perception of voice and its production involve auditory feedback, kinesthetic cues and the feedforward system that produce different effects for the voice. The Lombard, Sidetone and Pitch-Shift-Reflex effects are the most studied. The mapping of scientific experiments on changes in auditory feedback for voice motor control makes it possible to examine the existing literature on the phenomenon and may contribute to voice training or therapies.

Research with tinnitus patients presenting with hearing loss and normal hearing subjects have verified that tinnitus interferes with auditory processing. One treatment option for this symptom consists of tinnitus habituation therapy. To determine the influence of tinnitus habituation therapy on auditory abilities, on the self-perception of tinnitus regarding loudness and discomfort, and its impact on the quality of life.

Objective: Investigate the prevalence of the symptom of dizziness in the population of Minas Gerais according to Sample Survey of Households, as well as describe the profile of interviewed individuals and the association between dizziness and socioeconomic, demographic features and health status.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional observational study that analyzed individuals with dizziness symptom reported in the previous month.
Introduction In Vestibular Testing (VT), caloric tests allow evaluation of unilateral weakness (UW) and directional preponderance (DP), where different criteria of normality are adopted in Brazil and worldwide. The Brazilian version of the Dizziness Handicap Inventory (Brazilian DHI) evaluates the impact of dizziness on the quality of life of an individual. Objectives The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of dizziness on the quality of life of patients undergoing VT, and to relate these findings to the results obtained according to national and international criteria.

Basic audiological and electrophysiological evaluations were used to examine the peripheral and central auditory pathways of children with early-treated PKU, who followed adequate versus inadequate diets. Results were compared with those of age-matched children without PKU.

Materials And Method: sixteen female and nine male patients with a defined diagnosis of multiple sclerosis took part in this study.
Unlabelled: Exists controversy about the interference of the caffeine in the vestibular test. Coffee is the richest source of caffeine. While in some services, the patients were oriented to suspend the ingestion of caffeine 24 to 48 hours before the vestibular test, others did not consider the suspension of this drink necessary.
