This article aims to analyze the national scientific production on protective measures aimed at institutional care for at-risk children and adolescents in Brazil. By carrying out an integrative review, we seek to reflect on the main trends, themes, institutional actors, methodologies, and objectives of studies on the aforementioned measure and to analyze how the conditions and the right to health are presented and articulated in these references. Six thematic units were identified in the collection: Perceptions and roles of different actors in institutional reception processes; Processes of autonomy, dismissal, and causes of institutional care; Legislative aspects, evaluation of services, and identification of profiles; Family and community coexistence; Education and professional training; and Physical and mental health of sheltered children and adolescents.

Most aired in March, April and July, with the theme almost disappearing in subsequent months. The reports, on numbers of deaths or infections, prevention measures and house arrest or freedom for groups at risk of COVID-19 were mainly published in local telejournals.

This is qualitative research carried out with four eCnaRs (eCnaR) teams working in three territories of the city of Rio de Janeiro, totaling 25 professionals. Produced from focus groups, the empirical data point to the several meanings in the understanding of crack, understood as the "death drug" or the "stone of happiness".

This article presents a review of literature based on a survey of national and international journals on psychological distress and stress in the work of correctional officers between 2000 and 2014. The databases used were the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, Web of Science, and Scopus, and the descriptors were psychological distress, stress and correctional officers. The study triangulated quantitative methods (an anonymous questionnaire in a random sample of clusters involving 46 police units and 2,678 police force members) and qualitative ones (18 focus groups with 143 police force members, 24 individual semi-structured interviews, and field observations).
