Introduction: Class II malocclusion is a dysmorphosis that can result from different skeletal and/or alveolar components of maxillary and/or mandibular origin. In dental class II cases due to mesial drift of the maxillary molars, it is sometimes interesting to retract the maxillary molars, in order to avoid in certain situations extractions of premolars. To this end, several devices have been described in the literature.
