Imperatorin, an active natural furocoumarin, exerts a wide range of biological activities. In the present study, the therapeutic effects of imperatorin on cardiac function and remodelling and the possible underlying mechanisms involved in high-fat/high-fructose diet (HFFD)-fed rats were investigated.
