Cannabis use in the intensive care setting: A scoping review.

Purpose: Cannabis is the most used recreational drug worldwide, and is increasingly used for medicinal purposes, however little is known about its impact on patients in intensive care units (ICU). Our objective was to identify key themes in the literature surrounding cannabis in the ICU and identify future research priorities.

Methods: Four databases were systematically searched for literature investigating the impact of cannabis, and evidence for its therapeutic use, in adult ICU patients.

Approximately 250 cases of primary adrenal lymphoma have been reported. We describe an unusual presentation of this condition. Our patient is a 65-year-old male whom presented to the emergency department with 4 days of severe persistent hiccups.

The purpose of the present study is to analyse the influence of Pterocarpus marsupium methanolic extract and isolated Pterocarpus marsupium isoflavone on a battery of cellular targets Glut-4, PPAR gamma and PI3 kinase.
