Background: The treatment of vitiligo is difficult and usually requires prolonged therapy. All exogenous glucocorticoid therapies can lead to the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA) suppression. Steroid therapy in the form of an intermittent pulse therapy is a much safer option than daily administration.

Herein, we have developed a new class of organic photocatalysts that can mimic transition metals for several oxidative and reductive organic cross-coupling transformations. Due to its wide potential window in both the oxidation and reduction ranges, cinnoline exhibits dual catalytic activity under visible light illumination, acting as both a photoreductant and photooxidant.

The key compounds responsible for its sweetness includes stevioside and rebaudioside-A. In order to improve these steviol glycosides, the present study was initiated to study the effect of induced mutagenesis on growth parameters, steviol glycosides and nuclear DNA content in Bertoni using ten doses of gamma-rays (5-100 kR).

Increased interest in developing robust photocatalysts is stimulated by the fact that the current photocatalytic transformation boom has made previously inaccessible synthetic approaches possible. Motivated by enzymatic catalysis, employing a reusable phenalenyl-based photocatalyst, we have successfully developed oxidative dehydrogenation utilizing molecular oxygen as a greener oxidant.

DRESS is a potentially life-threatening severe cutaneous adverse reaction (SCAR). Historically, it was most frequently linked with phenytoin and was initially described as phenytoin hypersensitivity syndrome; however, it was later found to be caused by various other medications, with the commonest been aromatic anticonvulsants, allopurinol and sulfonamides. The severity of this entity is related to systemic involvement, which can result in multiorgan failure and death.

In vitro studies of these conjugates have shown improved antibacterial efficacy of avibactam when used alone against some ESKAPE pathogens, i.e.

Glomus tumor is a rare and benign vascular hamartoma originating from the neuro-myo-arterial apparatus of the glomus body in the reticular dermis. Most commonly, it presents as a solitary subungual lesion which is often painful and triggered by changes in temperature and pressure on the affected digit. However, multiple glomus tumors both digitally and elsewhere on the body which may or may not be painful are also known to occur.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy has gained importance in recent times as a valuable adjunct to therapy in hair restoration. However, the various beneficial effects of PRP as intraoperative holding solution hair restoration surgery remain to be objectively defined.

The base was found to be involved in a dual role of electron and hydrogen atom donor. Further, the aryl radical formed by the homolysis of C-X bonds in this technique was captured for the C-C coupling with unactivated arenes.

Contrary to known reductive amination methods, this protocol is amenable to substrates containing other reducible groups. This process effectively results in consecutive cleavage and formation of C-N bonds.

BRAF inhibitors have four types of conformers: type I (αC-IN/DFG-IN), type II (αC-IN/DFG-OUT), type I (αC-OUT/DFG-IN), and type I/II (αC-OUT/DFG-OUT).

Background: Verruca vulgaris is a viral infection with high recurrence rates and is very difficult to treat. It occurs due to the ability of the virus to evade immune recognition. This immune evasion by the human papillomavirus (HPV) can be circumvented by injecting HPV antigens subcutaneously and inducing inflammation and a systemic immune response.

Primary cutaneous aspergillosis is an uncommon opportunistic infection, generally seen in immunocompromised individuals. However, many atypical presentations have been reported recently particularly with the increased domain of immunosuppression. Sporotrichoid pattern of aspergillosis where it invades deep lymphatics have rarely been reported and never in immunocompetent individuals previously.

Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a severe adverse cutaneous drug reaction with ubiquitous involvement of mucosa. Drugs are identified as the main etiology in most cases. Cutaneous involvement in TEN occurs in the form of widespread painful erythematous macules, targetoid lesions, full-thickness or focal epidermal necrosis, whereas mucosal involvement involves oral, genital, and ocular mucous membranes along with preceding prodromal flu-like symptoms.

Deep plantar fissures are a common, painful condition, which are often recalcitrant to multiple modalities. Autologous platelet-rich fibrin is a reservoir of supraphysiological concentration of platelets housing various growth factors shown to accelerate wound healing. This unique form factor affords a novel advantage of its ability to be applied over and within these fissures under occlusion.

Background: Operational and training requirements of soldiers necessitate prolonged use of occlusive footwear which makes them susceptible to Tinea pedis and affects their performance. This study assesses copper oxide-impregnated socks as a treatment modality in soldiers with Tinea pedis.
Methods: Three hundred serving soldiers with Tinea pedis were randomly divided in two groups of 150 cases each.
