Synthesis and Crystal Structures of β -Diketonato Associated Aluminium Complexes as Potential Catalysts for the Ring-Opening Polymerization of ε-Caprolactone.

A couple of novel crystalline aluminium(III) derivatives containing tridentate Schiff base ligand (HL) and β-diketones (acetylacetone = acac, benzoylacetone = bnzac, dibenzoylmethane = dbnz) viz [Al(L)bnzac] [Al1], [Al(L)dnbz] [Al2] and [Al(L)acac] [Al3] were synthesized and characterized well using different spectroscopic techniques and elemental analysis. Single crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) analysis of Al2 & Al3 exhibited hexacoordinated geometry around aluminium centre atom. The ring opening polymerization (ROP) of caprolactone (CL) was evaluated to determine the catalytic potential of the complexes Al1-Al3 in absence as well as in presence of benzyl alcohol.

Adapting and implementing a pre-hospital trauma program for community health responders: A pilot study from rural Nepal.

Introduction: Effective pre-hospital care is critical for improving trauma outcomes, yet pre-hospital systems are underdeveloped in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs) like Nepal, where trauma-related deaths are rising. Community health responders (CHRs) have the potential to reduce time to post-injury care in rural settings, where other health infrastructure may be unavailable. We recently managed a child with bilateral CLE and realized that there is an extreme dearth of data available in the literature to guide a surgeon on the management of children with bilateral CLE. We performed a systematic review of the available literature and share our understanding from the same.

Robotic Repair of a Rare Morgagni Hernia in an Infant.

This case report describes the successful robotic-assisted repair of a large Morgagni hernia in an 8-month-old infant. Using the da Vinci Xi system, the hernial sac was excised, and the patient recovered without complications. It highlights the advantages of robotic surgery, including enhanced optics and precision, for complex hernia repairs in infants.

Given the recent surge and subsequent decline in the inflation rate in the United States, the prevalence of stress due to inflation may vary, as well as its relationship with anxiety and depression. Therefore, we investigated the prevalence of stress due to inflation and its association with anxiety and depression over time among working-age adults in the United States.

The Molecular Detection and Therapeutic Management of Pathogenic Infection in a Goat: A Case Report.

A 2-year-old female Assam Hill goat was presented with a clinical history of anorexia, fever, mild anemia, rough body coat, dehydration, tachycardia, dyspnea and swelling of palpable lymph nodes. Hematology revealed low hemoglobin, packed cell volume, red blood cell and thrombocyte count. Biochemical analysis showed increased serum concentration of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatinine and urea in comparison to the normal reference range.
