Background: Although the number of studies reporting war-induced effects on the health of the Ukrainian population has been growing, there are still little data on assessing patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) during the war. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of war on T2D patients' health to define key risk factors promoting disease progression.
Methods: A survey covering various aspects of T2D patients' experience and glycemic control data was conducted from June 2022 to February 2024.
Introduction: The study aim was to predict the risk of climacteric syndrome (CS) developing in perimenopausal women with hypothyroidism (HT) according to the developed algorithm and mathematical model for timely preventive measures.
Material And Methods: 146 perimenopausal women with autoimmune HT were enrolled in this study. Assessment of the severity of metabolic, neurovegetative and psychoemotional symptoms was graded according to the Blatt-Kupperman menopause index.
Objective: The aim: Is to establish a relationship between serum vitamin D level with carbohydrate and lipid indexes in women with autoimmune hypothyroid disease.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: 146 women with autoimmune hypothyroid disease were examined in the period 2017-2019, who signed the informed consent. The mean age of women was 43.
Unlabelled: Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 is a rare hereditary disease with an autosomal dominant type of inheritance characterized by high penetrance and the presence of hyperplasia and neoplasia in at least two different endocrine organs. The most often synchronously or consistently developing tumors are in the thyroid glands, the gastrointestinal tract and the adenohypophysis.
A Case Study: A patient 41-year-old with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 was treated with radiolabeled somatostatin analogues as a new promising treatment for patients with inoperable or metastatic neuroendocrine tumors.
The long-term androgen deficiency (AD) in men with hypothyroidism is an important problem due to the fact that it leads to concomitant cardiac pathology, which remains the leading cause of mortality in the world. The presence of different points of view on the problem of AD and its effect on the risk factors for cardiovascular disease in patients with hypothyroidismattracts attention. The aim of the study is to assess the clinical signs of age-related androgen deficiency and their association with cardiovascular risk factors in men with hypothyroidism.

The injection form of testosterone undecanoate (TU) represents the first long-acting injectable testosterone medication with a satisfactory safety profile, which is administered 4 times a year, does not lead to supraphysiological increases in testosterone blood levels, with the achievement of its stable levels. The aim is to investigate the effectiveness of therapy with testosterone undecanoate in patients with hypothyroidism and androgen deficiency.

For the study, 36 male rats have been utilized, weighing approximately 150-190 g, which were divided into three groups: the first, control group (12 animals) was composed of healthy rats that received intragastric sodium chloride 0.9% solution, the second group (12 animals) - animals with experimental thyrotoxicosis, which received intragastric solution of L-thyroxine at the rate of 200 μg/kg for 2 weeks, and the third group (12 animals) - rats with experimental thyrotoxicosis, which received intragastric solution of L-thyroxine at the rate of 200 μg/kg for 4 weeks.
