Cholesterol and mood states at 3 days after delivery.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between cholesterol and mood states in the initial puerperal period. The Profile of Mood States (POMS) was administered to 72 women on the third day after normal pregnancy, uncomplicated vaginal delivery and healthy baby. Plasma cholesterol concentration was measured the same day.
