Chromosomal abnormalities of the embryo are the most common cause of first-trimester pregnancy loss. In this single-center study, we assessed the frequency and the spectrum of chromosomal abnormalities in miscarriages for each year of maternal age from 23 to 44. Cytogenetic data were obtained by conventional karyotyping of 7118 miscarriages in women with naturally conceived pregnancies.

Particular attention is drawn to a large, but at the same time insufficiently studied group of patients with diabetes mellitus due to diseases of the pancreas or as a result of surgical interventions on the pancreas, in particular, patients who, for a number of vital indications, undergo total pancreatectomy and the mechanism of development of impaired glucose homeostasis have not been studied in these patients. To date, there are no specific algorithms for managing this category of patients.

There are numerous options for the operative treatment of painful calcaneal malunion; however, very few publications suggest specific radiological measurements for pre- and postoperative planning-even fewer have statistically analyzed how these radiological measurements affect clinical outcomes.
Methods: We performed a retrospective study of 100 patients after operative treatment of calcaneal malunion to determine the correlation between radiological measurements and clinical outcomes.
Objective: To analyze the clinical presentations of patients with endogenous Cushing's syndrome (CS) affected by Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19).
Materials And Methods: Patients who were referred to our clinic with active CS from 31st March to 15th May 2020 were screened for COVID-19 using real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Late-night serum cortisol (64-327 nmol/L), late-night salivary cortisol (LNSC) (0.
A simple, rapid and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography method with electrochemical detection was developed for the determination of glucosamine in human plasma. Plasma samples were analyzed after a simple two-step procedure of protein precipitation with subsequent dilution. The chromatographic separation was performed on a Carbopack column (3 mm x 150 mm) with a mobile phase consisting of water and 200 mM sodium hydroxide.

The distribution of cations over five nonequivalent positions of barium hexaferrite with magnetoplumbite structure is discussed. It has been shown that doped barium hexaferrite can be used for high-coercitivity data storage media.
