Cerebral aneurysms (CA) are a type of vascular disease that causes significant morbidity and mortality with rupture. Dysfunction of the vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) from circle of Willis (CoW) vessels mediates CA formation, as they are the major cell type of the arterial wall and play a role in maintaining vessel integrity. Dimethyl fumarate (DMF), a first-line oral treatment for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, has been shown to inhibit VSMC proliferation and reduce CA formation in a mouse model.

This publication revises the deteriorated performance of field calibrated low-cost sensor systems after spatial and temporal relocation, which is often reported for air quality monitoring devices that use machine learning models as part of their software to compensate for cross-sensitivities or interferences with environmental parameters. The cause of this relocation problem and its relationship to the chosen algorithm is elucidated using published experimental data in combination with techniques from data science. Thus, the origin is traced back to insufficient sampling of data that is used for calibration followed by the incorporation of bias into models.

Nearly 9 million people in the UK suffer from osteoarthritis, and bacterial infections play a role in its development. Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) exhibits immunomodulatory properties, partly via activation of the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) pathway which reduces oxidative stress by inducing the antioxidant response element (ARE). Phase contrast time-lapse microscopy is a non-destructive technique that generates large volumes of image-based information to quantify the behaviour of individual cells or cell populations. Background: Evaluation of a patient with melanoma in whom an adrenal mass was detected on CT and MR during follow-up and further characterized with PET-CT and MIBG scintigraphy.

Case Report: In this case report, we describe a patient with melanoma in whom an adrenal mass was detected on CT and MRI during post-surgical follow-up and was further characterized with radionuclide studies consisting of PET-CT and MIBG scintigraphy. Although the results of imaging studies suggested that the mass was a pheochromocytoma, a cortical adrenal adenoma was histologically proven.
