Objectives: To identify both type and frequency of the challenges community pharmacists face when dispensing drugs from hospital discharge prescriptions, to describe the measures undertaken to resolve the issues at stake and to list their consequences.
Design: We carried out an observational study in the community pharmacies of the French region of Alsace and asked the community pharmacy staff to review 537 hospital discharge prescriptions in 2013 using anonymous data collection forms.
Setting And Participants: Nineteen community pharmacies.

The integration of genomics and patient related data is considered as one of the most promising investigation topic in health care research. Started in 2004, the Grid for Geno Medicine (GGM) project aims at providing a comprehensive grid software infrastructure designed to allow biologists to mine and analyze relationships between medical, genetic, and genomic data stored in distributed datawarehouses. The proposed layered service oriented architecture offers a number of independent but compliant services that can be deployed in a grid environment.

Fast-disintegration technologies have encountered increased interest from industries in the past decades. In order to orientate the formulators to the choice of the best disintegrating agent, the most common disintegrants were selected and their ability to quickly disintegrate direct compressed tablets was evaluated.
