Background: Castleman's disease is a rare and benign lymphoproliferative disorder which can be unicentric (UCD) or multicentric (MCD). UCD usually involves a single lymph node or less frequently a group of lymph nodes. The most common sites of nodal UCD presentation are the mediastinum, neck, abdomen and retroperitoneum.

The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the diagnostic accuracy of [F]FDG-PET/CT using visual and semi-quantitative analyses for detecting the nodal involvement in HNSCC.
Methods: We analyzed consecutive patients who underwent a preoperative [F]FDG-PET/CT and neck dissection for HNSCC at our tertiary hospital.
Traumatic Ulcerative Granuloma with Stromal Eosinophilia (TUGSE)/Riga Fede disease is a rare mucosal and submucosal benign reactive inflammatory process, usually involving the tongue. Trauma is believed to be a major factor amongst the multiple pathogenic mechanisms that have been hypothesized in TUGSE. The lesion presents as an isolated indurated or even ulcerated mass, which may mimic, clinically a squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).

Methods: This is a retrospective multicentre survey of patients aged under 18 years at diagnosis with histologically confirmed MF. Patients' clinical and histological characteristics, treatments, and disease outcome (for patients followed for more than 12 months) were analysed.
A 54-year-old man with a history of tonsillar squamous cell carcinoma treated with chemoradiotherapy and an 18-year history of seropositive rheumatoid arthritis in remission without maintenance therapy presented with right cervical pain and dysphagia for several months. Flexible laryngoscopy did not show any lesion, and MRI revealed a necrotic lesion inside the thyro-hyo-epiglottic space attached to the hyoid bone. 18 F-FDG PET/CT demonstrated a moderately increased metabolic activity of the lesion without any other suspected lesions.

Mammary Paget's disease accounts for 1% to 3% of all breast tumors and manifests as a chronic eczematous lesion of the areolar skin. It can occur without any underlying neoplasia or can be present in association with an underlying invasive and/or in situ carcinoma of the breast. The present report describes a challenging nipple punch biopsy showing an infiltration of the lower third to two-thirds of the epidermis by large, ovoid, neoplastic cells.

Due to a lack of cases, there is no consensus for the systemic treatment of locally advanced or metastatic PCAC. Anti-androgen therapy may have activity in inoperable or metastatic PCAC with high androgen receptor (AR) expression.

Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations may synergistically disclose suggestive features of a fat-containing tumor with non-fatty enhancing sub-areas. Diagnosis relies on histological examination of a biopsic specimen.

Background: Dermoscopy is a technique which improves melanoma detection. Optical dermoscopy uses a handheld optical device to observe the skin lesions without recording the images. Sequential digital dermoscopy imaging (SDDI) allows storage of the pictures and their comparison over time.

Histopathological finding showed a poorly circumscribed lesion, located in the dermis. The morphological aspect strongly suggested the diagnosis of atypical fibrous histiocytoma (AFH), but surprisingly, the neoplastic cells were diffusely CD30+, with a membrane staining devoid of paranuclear dot.

Study Design: 190 ThinPrep breast samples with paired biopsies were retrospectively evaluated by two breast cytopathologists experienced only in CSm.
Despite the number of publications which have dealt with posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) retaining total knee arthroplasty, few studies have addressed the histology of the PCL. Based on these, the use of some predictive factors for lesions of the PCL has been suggested, as a decisive argument to substitute the ligament or not. The objective of this study was to assess the value of some predictive factors, based on objective findings.

Study Design: We studied 292 breast FNAC samples and their subsequent biopsies. The cytologic samples were blindly reevaluated 4-7 years later, when we had gained more experience and refined our diagnostic criteria.
Lassueur-Graham Little-Piccardi (LGLP) syndrome is a distinctive entity associating a scarring patchy alopecia of the scalp, a non-cicatricial axillary and pubic hair loss and a lichenoid follicular eruption. We present a 20-year follow-up of a demonstrative case, which had begun as typical lichen planus. In the literature, the relationship with lichen planus remains unclear.
