Chronic kidney disease (CKD) prevalence varies widely across different regions of India. We aimed to identify the status of CKD in India, by systematically reviewing the published community-based studies between the period of January 2011 to December 2023. PubMed, Scopus, and EMBASE were searched for peer-reviewed evidence.

In this study, some derivatives, including 7β-aminocholestene compounds, and 3β-acetoxy-6-nitrocholesta-4,6-diene were synthesized, in quantitative yields from 7β-bromo-6-nitrocholest-5-enes (1-3) with a small library of amines. The synthesized steroidal products were then thoroughly characterized using a range of physicochemical techniques, including IR, NMR, UV, MS, and elemental analysis.

A previously unreported compound was isolated from and characterized using various spectroscopic techniques (IR, UV, NMR, MS) and confirmed for the first time by X-ray crystallography. In isolated compound 1, noncovalent interactions between H···H/H···H, C···C/C···C and O···H/H···O play a major role in its packing arrangement.

Here, we tailored an ex vivo immune selection model for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and isolated the residual subpopulations as "immune-experienced" AML (ieAML) cells. We confirmed that upon surviving the immune reactions, the malignant blasts frequently decelerated proliferation, displayed features of myeloid differentiation and activation, and lost immunogenicity.

In this systematic review, we have included studies conducted in different parts of the world to find out the association of clinical features and outcomes of COVID-19 infection and concomitant Herpesviridae infection.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in electronic databases including Medline through PubMed, Cochrane database, Scopus and Web of science (core collection).
Background: Many of the educational institutions in developed countries have shifted to online learning. While transition from traditional to electronic learning (e-learning) has remained a great challenge in low-middle income countries, where limited resources for teaching and learning are important factors. Medical education involves not only lecturing but also deep understanding through laboratories and patient exposure.

The objectives aimed to elucidate the binding characteristics, structural changes, and thermodynamic parameters associated with the interaction. Various methods were used including UV-vis, fluorescence, and circular dichroism spectroscopy, supported by molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation.

Wheat peel extract contains a rich source of reducing and structure orienting agents that are not utilized for morphological transformation of NiO nanostructures. Our study focuses on the role of wheat peel extract in morphological transformation during the synthesis of NiO nanostructures as well as in non-enzymatic electrochemical urea sensing.

Gliomas represent a significant proportion of cerebral neoplasms, exhibiting diverse levels of malignancy. The etiology and mechanisms of resistance of this malignancy are inadequately comprehended, and the optimization of patient diagnosis and prognosis is a challenge due to the diversity of the disease and the restricted availability of therapeutic options.

The anthropogenic pressure in terms of deforestation, urbanization, use of fertilizers and pesticides, land use, and climate change are the major factors responsible for the deterioration of water quality. In the present study, we monitored 14 physicochemical parameters at three different sites from June 2018 to May 2020 in both the Aripal and Watalara streams of Kashmir Himalaya.

The volunteers were followed for T cell immune responses following the termination of a randomized phase III clinical trial. Seven days and four months after the second dose of the vaccine, the memory T cell subsets were collected and stimulated by autologous monocyte-derived dendritic cells (mDCs) loaded with SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein S1.

We intend to detail and illustrate numerous biological effects that occur in both aquatic vertebrates and invertebrates, at various dose rates from all three kinds of ionizing radiation. The characteristics of radiation sources and dosages that would most effectively generate the intended effects in the irradiated organism were assessed once the biological differentiation between vertebrates and invertebrates was determined through multiple lines of evidence.

Moreover, this study examined the mediating role of psychological green climate between green HRM practices and in-role green behaviour. In addition, we studied that spiritual leadership as a buffering mechanism strengthens the relation between psychological green climate and employee in-role behavior.
