This study focuses on the fabrication of 3D-printed chitosan/TiCT-MXene aerogels with varying MXene concentrations (1, 2, 5, and 10 wt%) using the direct ink writing (DIW) method. The inks were freeze-dried to form aerogels, and FTIR and XRD analyses confirmed interactions between chitosan and MXene molecules, leading to increased spacing between MXene nanosheets. Rheological testing showed improved shear-thinning behavior, enhancing printability.

WBV measurements were conducted on 51 Thoroughbred horses using a novel U-shaped scanning capillary-tube viscometer. The reference values for the WBV were determined at various shear rates ranging from 1 s to 1 000 s.

However, the extent of their contributions has not been extensively evaluated. In this study, we investigated the effects of genetic mutations on myofiber function and fibrosis patterns in HCM.

Nonetheless, significant challenges persist in realizing its full potential in chemoresistive sensing applications. In this study, a novel unidirectional freeze-casting approach for fabricating a Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS)-facilitated vertically aligned MXene-based aerogel with enhanced chemoresistive sensing properties was introduced.

In this study, we proposed a novel technique to simultaneously enhance the oxygen barrier properties and stiffness of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) while preserving its ductility. By utilizing in situ nanofibrillation, fiber-in-fiber composites of an HDPE matrix and ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) nanofibers were fabricated. Due to the high interfacial tension between HDPE and EVOH, stemming from their differences in chemical structure and polarity, styrene/ethylene-butylene/styrene copolymer grafted with maleic anhydride (SEBS--MA) was used as a compatibilizer to improve the affinity between the two polymers.

The EAF simplified estimation (EASE) score has been recently developed to predict EAF. We aimed to assess the predictive capacity of high EASE scores for EAF and postoperative outcomes and to evaluate the association between the lymphocyte count-to-C-reactive protein ratio (LCR) and high EASE scores after living donor liver transplantation (LDLT).

Objectives: To investigate the most optimal model by combining thymidine kinase 1 (TK1) autoantibody, extracellular protein kinase A (ECPKA) autoantibody, TK1 antigen, C-reactive protein (CRP), age, breed, and sex.
Animals: Serum samples from 1702 dogs were collected from local animal hospitals and referral animal medical centers in Korea.
Background: Despite recent advances and global improvements in sepsis recognition and supportive care, mortality rates remain high, and adherence to sepsis bundle components in Korea is low. To address this, the Korean Sepsis Alliance, affiliated with the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine, developed the first sepsis treatment guidelines for Korea based on a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: A de novo method was used to develop the guidelines.
Background: The objective of this study was to examine the correlation between low muscle mass (LMM) and depression, with a specific focus on identifying the sex-specific relationship between LMM and depression in a large sample.
Methods: This population-based cross-sectional study involved 292,922 community-dwelling adults from 2012 to 2019. Measurements were taken using the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression (CESD) scale and body composition analyses.
N-Arylindazole-3-carboxamide derivatives synthesized from an anti-MERS-CoV hit compound showed potent inhibitory activities against SARS-CoV-2. Among them, 5-chloro-N-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-1H-indazole-3-carboxamide (4a) exhibited a potent inhibitory effect (EC = 0.69 µM), low cytotoxicity, and satisfactory in vitro PK profiles.

In addition, because of its rarity, no definitive diagnostic criteria have been established for ALAI due to DF-AITFL.
Purpose: To document the symptom characteristics and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and and arthroscopic findings as well as postoperative clinical outcomes of ALAI due to DF-AITFL.

This study addresses the inherent fragility and fractal limitations of traditional silica aerogels by developing a bio-templated aerogel fiber. Integrating cellulose nanofibers (CNFs), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and silica aerogel (SA) in a dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) dispersion, a gel-spinning technique was employed to create aerogel fibers with superior thermomechanical performance. CNF also provided excellent rheological modification for successful spinnability, fast gelation, and fiber formation.

When one-dimensional (1D) nanofibers and two-dimensional (2D) nanoplatelets were selectively distributed in thin cell walls supercritical CO foaming, the confined nanoscale motion of 1D nanofibers and 2D nanoplatelets in the stretching process, including hybrid nanoparticle rotation and separation, was precisely regulated based on the hybrid nanoparticles' Monte Carlo theoretical modelling. Correspondingly, an optimized complex hybrid nanostructure with a suitable nanoparticle content, hybrid ratio and geometry was proposed to achieve a high gauge factor of 4469.

Despite the recent advancements in this field, due to their highly porous structure, their mechanical properties can be deteriorated. Inspired by the textile industry, we report the development of aerogel fiber bundles with twisted structures as a promising strategy to enhance the mechanical performance and practicality of aerogel fibers.

Since the early 2000s, minimally invasive forefoot surgery (MIS), particularly hallux valgus correction, has significantly advanced with the introduction of the Shannon burr. However, despite numerous relevant studies being published, no comprehensive review articles have summarized MIS for various forefoot conditions. Therefore, in this comprehensive review, we examined the relevant studies about the application of MIS (excluding arthroscopy and endoscopy) for various forefoot conditions.

Tat-mediated transcription is highly ordered apart from the cellular manner; therefore, it is considered a target for developing anti-HIV-1 drugs. However, drugs targeting Tat-mediated viral transcription are not yet available.

Additionally, fibula osteotomy (FO) is selectively selected and performed according to the surgeon's preference. However, it is controversial whether FO is effective in shifting the abnormal pressure from the medial to the lateral area on the ankle joint.
