The new observations presented here reveal that at the nanoscale the intercalation mechanism is fundamentally different from the existing models and is actually driven by nonuniform phase distributions rather than the localized Li concentration: the lithiation process is a 'distribution-dependent' phenomena.

The Pharmacology of Buprenorphine Microinduction for Opioid Use Disorder.

Although expanding the availability of buprenorphine-a first-line pharmacotherapy for opioid-use disorder (OUD)-has increased the capacity of healthcare systems to offer treatment, starting this medication is fraught with significant barriers. Standard induction regimens require persons with OUD to taper and discontinue full opioid agonists and experience opioid withdrawal prior to the first dose of buprenorphine. Further, emerging evidence indicates that precipitated withdrawal during induction may impact long-term treatment outcomes.

Threshold dose for intravenous nicotine self-administration in young adult non-dependent smokers.

Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion as a Rare Presentation of Antisynthetase Syndrome.

A 52-year-old woman developed branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) in her right eye, resulting in blurred vision with visual acuities of 6/9 and 6/6-2 in the affected and unaffected eye respectively (Snellen). The patient was successfully treated with a course of eight intravitreal aflibercept injections, improving binocular visual acuity to 6/6. During the course of her ocular management, she was admitted for acute dyspnoea secondary to interstitial lung disease (ILD).

The Case Definition was developed by a group of experts convened by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) in the context of active development of vaccines for SARS-CoV-2 vaccines and other emerging pathogens. The case definition format of the Brighton Collaboration was followed to develop a consensus definition and defined levels of certainty, after an exhaustive review of the literature and expert consultation.

In this study, we selected and genotyped 72 Tharparkar animals randomly from Cattle & Buffalo Farm of IVRI, India.

Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) is a transboundary viral disease that threatens more than 1.74 billion goats and sheep in approximately 70 countries globally. In 2015, the international community set the goal of eradicating PPR by 2030, and, since then, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) have jointly developed and implemented the Global Control and Eradication Strategy for PPR.
