Introduction: Access to and engagement with primary healthcare can be difficult for marginalized low-income populations residing in inner cities in high-income countries. We designed a study to examine retention in primary care among clients of a novel interdisciplinary primary care clinic in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, Canada who did not previously have access to care.

Methods: Beginning in June 2021, clients of the Hope to Health clinic were offered enrolment in a cohort study which involved a baseline and follow-up surveys every six months, and linking their data to information from the clinic's electronic medical records.

Here, we report that the RTN3L-SEC24C endoplasmic reticulum autophagy (ER-phagy) receptor complex, the CUL3KLHL12 E3 ligase that ubiquitinates RTN3L, and the FIP200 autophagy initiating protein, target mutant proinsulin (Akita) condensates for lysosomal delivery at ER tubule junctions. When delivery was blocked, Akita condensates accumulated in the ER. In exploring the role of tubulation in these events, we unexpectedly found that loss of the Parkinson's disease protein, PINK1, reduced peripheral tubule junctions and blocked ER-phagy.

Phase behavior of nanoconfined fluids adsorbed in metal-organic frameworks is of paramount importance for the design of advanced materials for energy and gas storage, separations, electrochemical devices, sensors, and drug delivery, as well as for the pore structure characterization. Reticulophagy is mediated by autophagy receptors that function in one of the two domains of the ER, tubules or flat sheets. Three different conserved mammalian receptors mediate autophagy in ER tubules: RTN3L, ATL3 and CALCOCO1. A recent trend in Non-Rigid Structure-from-Motion (NRSfM) is to express local, differential constraints between pairs of images, from which the surface normal at any point can be obtained by solving a system of polynomial equations. While this approach is more successful than its counterparts relying on global constraints, the resulting methods face two main problems: First, most of the equation systems they formulate are of high degree and must be solved using computationally expensive polynomial solvers. Some methods use polynomial reduction strategies to simplify the system, but this adds some phantom solutions.

Hyperechogenic breast lesions are a relatively rare finding at breast ultrasonography and are traditionally thought to be benign. However, hyperechogenicity on the ultrasound alone does not provide enough evidence to rule out malignancy completely. Improvements in early detection and treatment of gynecologic malignancies have led to an increasing number of survivors who are at risk of long-term cardiac complications from cancer treatment. Multimodality therapies for gynecologic malignancies, including conventional chemotherapy, targeted therapeutics, and hormonal agents, place patients at risk of cancer therapy-related cardiovascular toxicity during and following treatment. Although the cardiotoxicity associated with some female predominant cancers (eg, breast cancer) have been well recognized, there has been less recognition of the potential adverse cardiovascular effects of anticancer therapies used to treat gynecologic malignancies.
