A female patient, aged 39 is described, with enlarged thyroid gland since childhood, who developed, within 6 months, the clinical picture of Basedow's disease, pretreated with thyrostatics and operated. The histological study revealed an occult thyroid carcinoma in combination with histopathological changes, characteristic for struma Basedowificata and lymphocytic thyroidits of Hashimoto. No similar coincidence of those diseases of thyroid gland is available in literature.

The clinical manifestations are analyzed as well as the diagnostic tests, evolution and treatment and the etiological factors, leading to its origination. An opinion is expressed that the disease is not so rare as considered so far.
