Article Synopsis
  • Fibroepithelial stromal polyps (FEPs), also known as acrochordons, are benign tumors that arise from skin tissue and can appear as lesions.
  • A case study detailed a 45-year-old woman with a large, ulcerated FEP on the vulva, which grew rapidly without any known risk factors.
  • After treatment with antibiotics and MRI for diagnosis, the polyp was surgically removed, and pathology confirmed it was benign; the patient had a successful recovery with no complications or recurrence after a year.
