Background: The distal end radius (DER) is the third most common site of a giant cell tumour (GCT) in bone. GCT is a locally aggressive benign tumour with metastatic potential. The main goals in the management of GCT of DER are the complete removal of the tumours, the prevention of recurrence, and the restoration of the functional wrist.

In the present study, a case of thoracolumbar translational injury (AO type C) is presented following an incidence of child abuse in a 2-year-old female.

Purpose: Teleconsultation services can be used to overcome the barriers imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic in providing basic orthopaedic rehabilitation services. Aim of the study is to compare the effectiveness of rehabilitation provided via outpatient and teleconsultation in patients with mechanical low backache (LBA) and early osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee joint utilizing Patient-Reported Outcome Measures. The satisfaction level of patients receiving teleconsultation will also be assessed.

Transfibular ankle arthrodesis with use of sagitally split fibula as a biological plate leads to excellent outcome: A retrospective analysis.

Background: We studied ankle arthrodesis with a transfibular approach using sagitally spilitted fibula as a biological plate (onlay grafting) as well as other half of fibula as morcellised local interpositional graft (inlay grafting) to achieve bony union.

Material And Methods: Retrospective clinico-radiological evaluation of 36 operated cases was done at 3, 6, 12 and 30 months follow-ups. Clinically union was considered once ankle became pain free on full weight bearing.

Present study reports outcomes of single stage standardised treatment protocol using monolateral rail external fixator/limb reconstruction system in this type of infected diaphyseal femoral nonunions.

The history of pharmacovigilance started back 169 years ago with the death of a 15- year-old girl, Hannah greener. However, the Thalidomide incident of 1961 brought a sharp change in the pharmacovigilance process, with adverse drug reaction reporting being systematic, spontaneous, and regulated timely. Therefore, continuous monitoring of marketed drugs was essential to ensure the safety of public health.

Evaluation of functional outcome and comparison of three different surgical modalities for management of intertrochanteric fractures in elderly population.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to compare the role of the various surgical modalities ie, Hemiarthroplasty (HA), Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS), Cephalo-medullary nail (CMN) in the management of intertrochanteric fractures in elder patients with comparison of the results and assessment of the complications encountered with each method.

Methods: Total 105 adult patients having intertrochanteric fractures managed during July 2013 to December 2018 at tertiary trauma care centre and followed for minimum 12 months were included in the study. Patients were divided into three groups.

Desert legume as a novel source of antioxidant flavonoids / isoflavonoids: Biochemical characterization of edible pods for potential functional food development.

Flavonoids and isoflavonoids in foods are attracting attention as they are significant antioxidant and phytoestrogenic compounds that are beneficial for human health. In this study, the edible pods of the underutilized desert legume from Rajasthan, India were used to extract flavonoids. The pods from semi-arid zone showed the highest flavonoid content (432 mg Rutin hydrate/gm).
