Enhancing vaccine uptake is a critical public health challenge. Overcoming vaccine hesitancy and failure to follow through on vaccination intentions requires effective communication strategies. Here we present two sequential randomized controlled trials to test the effect of behavioural interventions on the uptake of COVID-19 vaccines.

Double-face Augmentation Urethroplasty for Bulbar Urethral Strictures: Technical Implications and Short-term Outcomes for a Dorsal Versus Ventral Approach.

Unlabelled: This study describes technical implications and compares short-term outcomes after a dorsal versus ventral approach for double-face augmentation urethroplasty (DFAU) for treating a near-obliterated bulbar urethral stricture (BUS). This was a retrospective evaluation of a prospectively collected database of patients with BUS (<2 cm) who underwent DFAU. The choice between the approaches depended on (1) landmark identification (the relation between the bulbospongiosus muscle and the distal end of the stricture) and (2) corpus spongiosum width.

Longitudinal change in TSPO PET imaging in progressive multiple sclerosis.

The objective of this pilot study was to assess a 2-year change in innate immune burden in 15 progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) patients using PK11195-PET. Sixteen age-matched healthy controls (HC) were included for baseline comparison. Takayasu's arteritis (TA) is a large-vessel chronic inflammatory vasculitis that leads to thrombotic vascular occlusion. This can lead to varied presentations including limb claudication, ischemic stroke, hypertension, and heart failure. Although contrast computed tomography angiography is the main modality for imaging of the aorta and its branches, transthoracic echocardiography can be an easy-to-access, point-of-care, initial screening tool for evaluating the aorta and other cardiac structures.

Older women and wellbeing through the pandemic: Examining the effect of daily online yoga lessons.

The researcher reports the impact of online yoga lessons on a cohort of community-dwelling older adult women in mitigating fears, anxieties and promoting resilience, wellbeing and salutogenic wellness during the pandemic as compared to a control group. Online yoga lessons were effective and economic class, education, religion, marital status, and living arrangements were significant moderators. Intervention adherence had the strongest predictor effects.

Seronegative myasthenia gravis is a rare, but potential adverse effect of immune checkpoint inhibition. There have been few but increasing number of cases reported in recent years, and early recognition is important for prompt diagnosis and management. Here, we describe the case of a 65-year-old male with metastatic renal cell carcinoma on pembrolizumab diagnosed with new-onset seronegative myasthenia gravis and review literature on its management.

The proposed COUNTERACT system recognizes infectious sites by retrieving location data from a mobile phone device linked with a particular infected subject. The proposed approach is computing an incubation phase for the subject's infection, backpropagation through the subjects' location data to investigate a location where the subject has been during the incubation period.

Contralateral Axillary Metastasis in Breast Carcinoma: Case Report and Review of Literature.

The clinical dilemma of management of isolated contralateral axillary metastasis (CAM) in carcinoma breast remains unsolved. We report a case of metachronous contralateral left axillary metastasis in a 54-year-old postmenopausal woman, its management, and review of literature. After ruling out distant metastasis and occult primary in the opposite breast, curative treatment was planned.

Background: Although radiographs have been widely used in the evaluation of patients with suspected bone tumors, the lack of an objective radiological assessment method leads to a challenge in reaching correct diagnosis. The study aimed to propose a Radiological Evaluation Score for Bone Tumors (REST) which includes eight radiological factors [characteristics, content, cortical breach, distinctiveness, distribution, periosteal reaction, fracture, and soft tissue swelling] to form a single score along with its validation by multidisciplinary observers.

Fibrin-Associated, EBV-Negative Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Arising in Atrial Myxoma: Expanding the Spectrum of the Entity.

Fibrin-associated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (FA-DLBCL) is a provisional entity in the 2017 Revision of the World Health Organization Classification. This indolent entity, which is frequently discovered incidentally, is currently classified under the category of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma associated with chronic inflammation (DLBCL-CI), an aggressive lymphoma with poor survival. Several authors have proposed that it be classified separately since, in contrast to DLBCL-CI, transformation to aggressive lymphoma has rarely been reported and this entity has distinct clinical and histological features.
