Progress in maternal child health has been hampered by poor rates of outpatient follow up for postpartum individuals. Primary care after delivery can effectively detect and treat several pregnancy-related complications and comorbidities, but postpartum linkage to primary care remains low. In this manuscript, we share the experience of implementing a novel mother-infant dyad program, the Multimodal Maternal Infant Perinatal Outpatient Delivery System (MOMI PODS), to improve primary care linkage and community resource access postpartum via integration into pediatric care structures.

We present the case of a male infant born at 39 weeks' gestation with microphthalmia with cyst that was characterized using serial multimodal imaging, including fetal ultrasound and MRI, B-scan ultrasonography, ultrasound biomicroscopy, and postnatal MRI. Multiple prenatal and postnatal imaging modalities yielded comparable evaluations of the ocular and orbital pathology, validating the prenatal assessments.

A 2-year-old girl with severe muscular dystrophy presented with unilateral eye pain and corneal clouding. She was found to have absent red reflex, hypotonia, cerebral hypoplasia, and iris bombe on ultrasound biomicroscopy, a feature not previously reported in this syndrome. She responded favorably to surgical management.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional hospital-based retrospective study over nine years (March 2011-March 2020) from a pyramidal eye care network in India. The analysis included 477,954 new patients (0-21 years), collected from an International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coded electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Introduction: The aim of the study was to report the clinical presentations, management, and factors affecting the outcomes of posterior segment open globe injuries in 2,360 consecutive eyes.
Methods: This was a retrospective, consecutive, non-comparative interventional case series. All cases with scleral and corneoscleral wounds presenting to these centers from January 2014 to January 2021 were included.
Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness and future implications of COVID-related risk stratification for managing retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).
Methods: A prospective study was conducted at a tertiary eye care center from the beginning of the lockdown in India from 23 March 2020 till the end of the first phase of lockdown on 29 May 2020. Purpose: To analyze the impact of a revised care plan for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) during SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in a tertiary eye care facility in eastern India.
Methods: In a retrospective study, we analyzed the medical records of babies managed for ROP during the peak of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, with particular reference to the challenges, and the revised strategies addressing travel restrictions for five months, from April to August 2020. The strategy included selective referral (babies with higher treatment probability), longer follow-up intervals (babies with non-alarming findings), use of locally available workforce, and teleconsultation whenever feasible.
A new type of pyrene-based ammonium bromides (PABs) was synthesized the reaction of bromomethyl pyrene and tertiary amines with different alkyl chains combined with graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) through π-π stacking interactions. The new pyrene-based ammonium bromides were investigated both in homogenous phase and heterogeneous phase combining with g-CN for the CO fixation reaction of epoxides under mild conditions. Obviously, the combination was proved to be an efficient system for the conversion of epoxides.
