Background: Numerous surgical options are available for the management of massive irreparable rotator cuff tears, but there are no current definitive guidelines concerning the optimal treatment modality. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a biodegradable subacromial spacer (InSpace) implantation in patients with irreparable rotator cuff tears.

Background: The incidence of isolated greater tuberosity fractures has been estimated to be 20% of all proximal humeral fractures. It is generally accepted that displaced (>5 mm) fractures should be treated surgically but the optimal surgical fixation of greater tuberosity fractures remains unclear.

Objective: The goal of this study was to simulate the environment of application of a new plate system (Kaisidis plate, Fa Königsee) for fractures of greater tuberosity, and to demonstrate the stability of the plate.

The purpose of this study was to assess the outcomes of twenty isolated type II SLAP lesions which were repaired arthroscopically using a two-portal technique. Shoulder function was evaluated at a mean follow-up of 2 years using the modified Constant-Murley score. The average preoperative score was 65.
