Accumulating research has revealed that src-homology domain 2-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase-2 (SHP2), an oncogenic protein tyrosine phosphatase, is associated with liver fibrosis. Herein, we report the iridium-catalyzed intramolecular cyclopropanation of SY in the presence of a chiral diene in up to 96% yield and 98% enantioselectivity.
