Background: Peanut allergy (PA) is one of the most prevalent food allergies with a lack of favorable safety/efficacy treatment. A cucumber mosaic virus-like particle expressing peanut allergen component Ara h 2 (VLP Peanut) has been developed as a novel therapeutic approach for PA.
Objective: We assessed the tolerogenic properties and reactivity of VLP Peanut.
Purpose: The Clinical Genome Resource (ClinGen) Gene Curation Expert Panels (GCEPs) have historically focused on specific organ systems or phenotypes; thus, the ClinGen Syndromic Disorders GCEP (SD-GCEP) was formed to address an unmet need.
Methods: The SD-GCEP applied ClinGen's framework to evaluate the clinical validity of genes associated with rare syndromic disorders. 111 Gene-Disease Relationships (GDRs) associated with 100 genes spanning the clinical spectrum of syndromic disorders were curated.
Over the past two decades, has proven to be successful in modeling the polyglutamine (polyQ) (caused by CAG repeats) family of neurodegenerative disorders, including the faithful recapitulation of pathological features such as polyQ length-dependent formation of protein aggregates and progressive neuronal degeneration. In this study, pan-neuronal expression of human with long polyQ repeat of 82 amino acids was driven using an elav-GAL4 driver line. Objective: Parents and caregivers of children with neurological conditions express interest in new and developing treatments and trials; however, they have limited knowledge of, and access to, reliable information. This study aims to empower and equip decision-making and support communication in the application of advanced neurotherapeutics and personalised medicine, covering gene therapy, stem cell therapy, neurostimulation and neuroimmunotherapies.
Design: A suite of online psychoeducational resources has been created and evaluated to establish implementation success.
Background: An increased body mass index (BMI) can lead to subfertility; however, current literature fails to exclude the effect of other confounding medical conditions, raising questions regarding the direct link between increased BMI and fertility outcomes.
Objectives: To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to elucidate the effects of increased BMI on fertility outcomes in females with no other comorbidities.
Search Strategy: A comprehensive search was conducted using EMBASE, MEDLINE and the Cochrane library from January 2000 until July 2023.
Background And Purpose: EPIMix is a fast brain MRI technique not previously investigated in patients with glioma grades 3 and 4. This pilot study aimed to investigate the diagnostic performance of EPIMix in the radiological treatment evaluation of adult patients with glioma grades 3 and 4 compared to routine clinical MRI (rcMRI).
Materials And Methods: Patients with glioma grades 3 and 4 investigated with rcMRI and EPIMix were retrospectively included in the study.
Background: Macrophage-based cell therapies have shown modest success in clinical trials, which can be attributed to their phenotypic plasticity, where transplanted macrophages get reprogrammed towards a pro-tumor phenotype. In most tumor types, including melanoma, the balance between antitumor M1-like and tumor-promoting M2-like macrophages is critical in defining the local immune response with a higher M1/M2 ratio favoring antitumor immunity. Therefore, designing novel strategies to increase the M1/M2 ratio in the TME has high clinical significance and benefits macrophage-based cell therapies.

These images reveal that the primary asteroid, Didymos, is flattened and has plausible undulations along its equatorial perimeter. Method: We conducted a qualitative descriptive study with interdisciplinary clinicians by using a purposeful sampling recruitment strategy. Twenty-four participants with expertise caring for children with SNI completed in-depth, semi-structured interviews.
Unlabelled: While serial sampling of glioma tissue is rarely performed prior to recurrence, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is an underutilized longitudinal source of candidate glioma biomarkers for understanding therapeutic impacts. However, the impact of key variables to consider in longitudinal CSF samples, including anatomical location and post-surgical changes, remains unknown. To that end, pre- versus post-resection intracranial CSF samples were obtained at early (1-16 days; n=20) or delayed (86-153 days; n=11) timepoints for patients with glioma.

Methods: A preliminary conceptual model on concepts relevant to physical functioning limitations in patients with CKD was developed using data from a targeted literature review (patients with CKD stages IV-V) and previous interviews (patients with CKD stages IIIa-IIIb).
