- This study aimed to analyze the histology of persistent periapical lesions linked to root canal treatments and explore correlations between the histological findings and the size of the lesions on radiographs.
- Findings revealed that a significant majority (68.33%) of the lesions were granulomas, followed by cysts (23.33%), while abscesses (5%) and scar tissue (3.33%) were much less common.
